Veterans receive monthly evaluations to assess progress in relation to minimum Satisfactory Academic Progress evaluation standards. Students certified to receive veteran benefits whose grade point average (GPA) falls below 85% and/or fails to make 80% attendance of their scheduled hours will be placed on probation and reported to the VA. If at the end of the probation period, the student’s grades are still below 85%, or the minimum attendance is still below 80%, veterans will be terminated. Once minimum attendance standards are met, benefits can be reinstated.
