I started my career as a receptionist in my family salon, with my oldest sister as my direct supervisor and my mother as the education director. This dynamic pushed me to learn quickly and thoroughly. My mother taught with patience, love, and creativity—traits she passed down to me. My first big styling challenge was creating a beehive hairstyle. My mother always reminded me, ‘It’s the foundation first. Without a solid foundation, you have nothing to build on.’ That lesson has stuck with me, shaping both my career and my approach to life.
Working in hairdressing since my teenage years and traveling the world to work in various countries has given me unique insight into diverse hair types, fashions, and styles. These experiences have shaped my ability to see the world through the eyes of an artist, instilled great confidence, and refined my skills in communication, conflict resolution, and creative problem-solving.
They also ignited new passions in me, such as cooking and dancing—pursuits I embraced wholeheartedly, even dancing semi-professionally as a teenager. Additionally, my travels deepened my love and respect for nature and the wonders of our planet. These experiences inspire me daily to strive to be a better person and a better hairdresser, and I’m excited to say that the journey is far from over.
